VXL-6s Waterproof Electronic Speed Control

6s LiPo compatible, with an integrated cooling fan, real-time telemetry via Traxxas Link, three-LED status indicators, powered accessory ports, 10-gauge silicone wire, and integrated protection circuits.

Velineon 2000 kV Brushless Motor

Four-pole 2000 kV motor with a 5 mm output shaft and finned can for better heat dissipation. The fixed-mesh motor cradle supports the entire motor length and reduces flex for longer gear life.

Speed and Traxxas Stability Management

70+ mph with optional gearing and two 3s LiPo batteries, sold separately. Traxxas Stability Management improves straight-line acceleration and braking on low-traction surfaces, never dulls throttle or slows the truck, and adjusts from off to 100% assistance from the transmitter.

TQi 2.4 GHz High Output Radio System

TQi two-channel transmitter with Traxxas Link, 2.4 GHz five-channel micro receiver (6533) with fail-safe security and integrated telemetry ports. It automatically stores and loads settings for up to 30 Traxxas Link-enabled models; just switch on and drive without model selection. The programmable Multi-Function knob offers adjustable steering and throttle percentage (dual rates), sensitivity (exponential), and end points.

Clipless Body

Quick and secure installation and removal, managed airflow for improved high-speed stability, rigid internal frame, additional nerf bar side support, no body posts or clips, and molded body reinforcements for tear-through protection.

Drivetrain

Full-time shaft-driven four-wheel drive. The torque-biasing center drive absorbs shocks and distributes power in an aluminum housing. Sealed silicone-fluid-filled differentials use large-module ring and pinion gears. Steel pinion and spur gear, heavy-duty Cush Drive, Steel-Core hybrid telescoping driveshafts, and a splined aluminum center driveshaft complete the drivetrain.

Modular Low-CG Composite Chassis

Extended modular chassis design interlocks with front and rear bulkheads, absorbs and distributes impact energy, has molded-in hex reinforcements on flat surfaces, allows easy servicing and component access, and seals the driveline inside the chassis to keep out dirt and grit.

Easy Battery Access

Large battery compartment with secure snap-lock battery door accepts a single 6700 mAh 4-cell LiPo battery or dual 5000 mAh 3s LiPo batteries. Batteries sit protected deep in the chassis with a more secure retention system than conventional designs.

Heavy-Duty Steering Bellcranks and Servo

Large-scale high-output steering servo with 285 oz-in torque, 0.18-second transit speed, triangulated mounting to fully support the case, and heavy-duty double-shear bellcranks.

Suspension and GT-Maxx Shocks

Heavy-duty double-shear suspension arms use a tough composite formula that resists impact damage even in cold weather. Geometry optimizes suspension travel and steering angles; critical suspension points have double-shear strength, steel pivot balls, C-hub and steering-block geometry for steering angle, fixed high-strength camber and toe links, and steel upper and lower tie bars. GT-Maxx shocks have machined aluminum threaded bodies, extra-large bore and oil capacity, large-diameter damper shafts, lower seal cartridges with dual X-rings, adjustable upper spring retainers, plastic shock caps with pivot balls, and bolted-on lower spring perches.

Bumpers, Wheels and Tires

Heavy-duty energy-absorbing front and rear bumpers, lower front and rear skids for impact and abrasion resistance, integrated nerf bars for side impact resistance, and an adjustable wheelie bar with integrated carry handle. Tough dual-profile wheels have keyed 17 mm hex receptors. Large 5.3-inch Maxx SC belted tires limit expansion, use one-piece foam inserts, and arrive pre-glued.
