An integrated memory microchip stores charging preferences and battery health information, while internal metal side plates protect the cells and help dissipate heat.

Compatibility

• Requires a Spektrum G2 Smart charger or an earlier Spektrum Smart charger with the G2 update
• IC5 is compatible with EC5 power connections; connector compatibility does not replace the G2-compatible Smart charger requirement
• No separate balance lead is fitted; do not use a conventional charger that requires a separate balance connection
