RPM's RPM81252 Front Skid Plate is a direct upgrade replacement for the Traxxas Slash 2WD front skid plate, designed to simplify maintenance, improve durability, and clean up the front-end appearance. A new bellcrank mounting system uses molded posts to sandwich the bellcrank between the skid plate and chassis — eliminating the need to remove the bellcrank during skid plate removal and preventing the bellcrank screws from popping out after impacts. A triangulated mounting system adds a center support post that ties into a pre-existing chassis hole, providing a significant boost to front-end structural rigidity. Recessed flat-head screw holes protect screw heads from ground contact. Replaces front skid plate from Traxxas #5837. Fits stock Traxxas Slash 2WD chassis and components only.
