The RPM RPM80402 Shock Shaft Guards protect your shock shafts from rocks, dirt, and debris that cause dents, dings, and burrs — the leading cause of torn shock seals and leaky shocks. Each guard replaces the stock spring cup with a thin but tough shield that rises to the base of the shock body, blocking over 100 degrees of frontal exposure while leaving the back and sides open to prevent debris buildup. The kit also includes oversized replacement shock rod ends for improved durability and consistency. Zero-friction design: the guard never contacts the working elements of the shock.
