RPM's RPM80022 three-piece front bumper and skid plate system for the Traxxas Slash 4×4 delivers bash-proof front-end protection in a modular design. Run the full setup — skid plate mount, skid plate, and bumper — for maximum crash protection, or remove the bumper for racing to shed 27 grams (~1 oz) of weight while retaining the skid plate as a lightweight alternative. The design eliminates the stock bumper support ring and its 4 mounting screws, preventing frontal impact energy from transferring into the upper differential housing. Longer bumper mounting screws are included to further reduce pull-out risk on hard hits. Fully compatible with RPM light canister sets RPM80982 and RPM80983 for Desert Racing Truck lighting integration.
