BSI Insta-Flex Flexible Thin CA – 3/4 oz BSI119

BSI Insta-Flex™ (BSI119) is a flexible thin cyanoacrylate ideal for applications where the cured bond must remain pliable rather than brittle. Unlike standard CA, Insta-Flex™ does not turn brittle when cured and remains clear even when accelerated with BSI Insta-Set™. It has superior shock resistance and good penetrating qualities.

Insta-Flex™ is the recommended CA for installing CA hinges in RC aircraft. It has a different, less irritating odor compared to regular CAs and has proven superior when bonding anodized aluminum. Note: cannot be used on white foam.

Directions

Loosen top to relieve internal pressure, then re-tighten. Remove cap and cut off top 1/32" while holding bottle upright. Hold parts tightly together and apply around seam for instant bonding. Full strength reached in 1 hour. For CA hinges, drill a 1/16" hole in the center of hinge slots to ensure complete saturation.
