Thinning & Application Notes
- For airbrushing, thin with Tamiya X-20A Acrylic Thinner or Tamiya Lacquer Thinner (81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, 87077). Lacquer thinner yields faster drying and a harder finish.
- For brush painting, use Tamiya Paint Retarder (87114) for a smoother, brushstroke-free finish.
- XF-designated colors are flat finish; X-designated colors are gloss finish.
