This unassembled plastic display model captures its compact, low-profile form with detailed cast textures, weld lines and selected turret interior fittings. Assembly and painting are required; this is not a radio-controlled model.

About the M24 Chaffee

Developed as the successor to the M3/M5 Stuart light tanks, the M24 Chaffee was formally adopted in 1944. It combined sloped turret and hull armor with a 75 mm main gun originally developed for the B-25 bomber. Its torsion-bar suspension was unusual for a U.S. tank of the period. The Chaffee entered combat before the end of World War II as Allied forces advanced through France and Western Europe and fought in Italy. It later served in conflicts including the Korean War and the Indochina War.

In the Box

1/35 M24 Chaffee plastic model assembly kit

Commander and loader torso figures

Photo-etched rear rack part

Decals for three European Theater marking options

Needed to Complete

Model cement

Paint

Assembly tools and finishing supplies

Key Features

World War II M24 configuration based on extensive research

Cast surface patterns on the turret front and gun shield, with detailed weld lines

Separate main gun breech and transceiver parts for the turret interior

Slide-molded fender sides and gun barrel for a detailed finish

Optional hull-side sand shields

Clear light lenses and cupola vision blocks

Photo-etched rear stowage rack and molded tow cable parts

Assembly-type tracks with one-piece straight sections

Two torso figures and three marking options

Model Details

The turret rear stowage box uses separate parts, and the idler wheels are split into inner and outer halves to reproduce details such as the wheel-side holes.
